Impartiality
To provide confidence in every facet of our business operations ICS Ltd is committed to maintaining and ensuring the highest levels of operational impartiality at all times. To achieve this we have developed operating policies and procedures to ensure independence at every stage of the certification process. These policies and supporting operational procedures are the cornerstones that underpin our business and they ensure all external organizations can have a high degree of confidence in all aspects of what we do.
This confidence extends from acceptance of invitations to provide proposals for work to the allocation of audit resources to the certification decision and the maintenance of an effective surveillance visit program together with the prompt and fair resolution of any complaints, appeals or associated disputes connected to any certificate of registration issued by our company.
To maintain confidence and impartiality at all times ICS Ltd has established operating processes, procedures and policies that ensure at all times regardless of how any client has developed and continues to maintain their management systems no perceived advantages will be gained nor will any assessment be easier or made available at less cost to them. All resultant certification decisions will be taken solely on the basis of objective evidence gathered during assessment activities.
As part of its on-going commitment to impartiality top management a ICS Ltd has requested that the Certification Committee to undertake the role of impartiality committee. This committee routinely reviews all aspects of ICS Ltd business operations and seeks to identify any possibilities for conflict of interest arising from any relationship with clients and the delivery of its assessment and certification services. Should any threat to the impartiality of its operations be identified the Certification Committee will resolve to determine appropriate steps to eliminate them. With any proposed actions being binding upon the Top Management of ICS Ltd. The Certification Committee will review the effectiveness of any such action as part of their periodic review of the impartiality of the audit / assessment, certification and decision making processes of ICS Ltd.
The Directors, management, certification committee members, field personnel, and all other subcontractor partners value our impartiality and objective approach to business and in particular the absence of any other business activity offered by the company to any external organization. We are all committed both collectively and individually to ensuring the highest standards of business ethics are followed at all times thus ensuring we maintain and preserve the highest standards of impartiality at all times in every thing we do or say.
